In Matthew 22:37, Jesus Christ gives us the greatest two commandments, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” It is the vision of this ministry that
we live these commandments.
About Dr. Judy Lanier
Judy loves to watercolor and go fly-fishing with her husband and their dogs!
Judy’s earliest memory of her love for Christ is when she was about three or four. Standing on the front steps of her family’s church, her eyes closed, she was thinking how much she loved Jesus. A soft breeze across her face, she felt how much He loved her. Remembering a scratchy petticoat, hat and gloves, it must have been Easter! Judy had a wonderful small town childhood in Texas, surrounded by Christian family and friends. In junior high, Judy along with many of her friends accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior when James Robison preached a revival in their small town… a public confession of something she had felt her entire life.
Judy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Frank, for forty-three years. They have two grown children, two grandsons, and one granddaughter. She and Frank live at home in Texas with their two dogs.
Judy graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a BBA in Accounting. She received her CPA certificate and worked in that profession for twenty years before going home to spend more time with her family. She has taught Sunday school and Bible studies, for children and women for more than thirty years.
Judy has a heart to teach women the Word and her focus for the last two decades has been teaching women. It was in 2009 that she felt God calling her to learn more and at the age of fifty-three she began attending Seminary. In 2014 she received her Masters of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Women’s Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). She graduated from DTS with a DEdMin (Doctor of Educational Ministry-Women’s Cohort) in May 2019.
Judy’s teachings and writings are filled with sincerity and warmth. She feels called by God to teach the love of Christ as He commanded in the first and second “greatest commandments” (Matthew 22:37-40). It is through her maturity and experiences that God infuses her with compassion and love for the women of this world.
